About UsThe Colorado Academy is located in a large, working horse ranch just south of Colorado Springs--the Cactus Creek Ranch. Our building is over 5,000 square feet and is currently under construction. It will contain a working small animal clinic complete with radiology, surgery, treatment, and exam facilities. In addition, large and farm animal pens and dog and cat kennels on site will enable you to get daily, hands on experience with the animals that will be your patients. The facility will also contain a large lecture hall, seminar room, library, computer facility, and administrative offices. Classes and laboratories are currently held there.
The Colorado Academy of Veterinary Technology strives to help every student succeed: no student is left alone. Small class size (up to 30 students), opportunities for individual tutoring, and quality instructors all contribute to a quality learning environment.
The Colorado Academy of Veterinary Technology is committed to helping each student grow academically, personally, and intellectually. To that end, the Colorado Academy of Veterinary Technology will endeavor to help every student become:
- A lifelong learner.
- A skilled problem solver.
- A dynamic team member.

- A skilled technician.
- A competent medical professional.
The staff at the Colorado Academy of Veterinary Technology is dedicated to the success of each and every student. This means that we will help you become the very best student you can be.
