In order to become a Certified Veterinary Technician, you must graduate from an AVMA-accredited program and sit for the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE). The Colorado Academy of Veterinary Technology is accredited by the AVMA.

DIRECTIONS TO THE CAVT:

FROM THE NORTH: I-25 to the Lake Avenue/Circle exit (Exit 138).  Make a left (east) at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Circle Drive.  Get into the far right hand lane.  Make a right on Janitell road (by the Shell station, McDonald’s, and the Goodwill).  Make an immediate right into the driveway for the Goodwill, then an immediate left to 2766 Janitell road.  We are about 500 feet south from the driveway entrance.
